Part two of the Oprah All Star Tribute. Within 5 minutes we saw Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Jada Smith, Michael Jordan, Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder, whew. All paying tribute to the O herself. I sort of wished she had changed her dress for the 2nd part. At least this is better then that out of control Over the Rainbow montage from yesterday's show.
Now Jerry Seinfeld is paying his tribute, in a tux no less. She seems surprised to see him, even thou he was sitting 10 feet from her.
Next up Simon Cowell introducing Rosie O'Donnell and her Broadway song tribute, with Dr. Phil, Dr Oz, and Nate Burkas. Again Oprah is shocked to see these people. They were sitting in the audience for show, how shocked can she be?
Queen Latifah is back to introduce Oprah's best friend Gayle King and Maria Shriver. We learn that 64 688 kids went to school because of her. This was the first part of these shows that was more then just some song number. A proper way to show the power of O.
Maya Angelou and Alica Keys say a poem and sing a song. Oprah is still shocked.
She is even more shocked when Stedman comes on the stage. He talks about she brings her own lunch to work! Then he introduces The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin for her 20 +min rendition of Amazing Grace.
She stretched out words so long, you forgot what the word was to begin with.
The last surpised of the show - Usher. He sang, while Aretha was still finishing up her song from 20 min ago
Then that was it, only 1 show left.
